Has anyone out there gotten a 2nd B.A. instead of directly going for a masters? I am a 2nd B.A. student and mostly because I'm going to be working in an elementary school ... a job that (many teachers have told me) would probably be out of reach if I applied with a masters instead of a B.A. because why pay someone more to teach third grade/work as a librarian when they don't have to. I am going to be an elementary librarian and I only have a year left before i student teach. After i get a job in an elementary school I am going to get my masters but until then i am busting moves to finish my current degree. I just wondered if anyone has received a 2nd B.A. and if so what was it in.

I was working on a 2nd BA in music, but I am not going to finish the degree. I would have started working on a Master's but there wasn't one available at that university that I wanted.

My program is a combined degree, so I'll be getting 2 degrees. One in music and one in education.

I was thinking about going back to school for my BS in Information Systems or Computer Sciences. Haven't made up my mind, since every college offers different majors. I have a BS in Operations Management and a minor in International Business. Hasn't gotten my anywhere yet. Would have preferred my advisor told me it would be IMPOSSIBLE to get a job in Operations. Actually, I think most Business majors are hard to get anywhere with unless you get into something technology related or you have an amazing GPA.

Ugh.
